Frequently hangs with “Loading” displayed (10/14/2008)
This gadget frequently does not work at all. It will just sit there with an arrow rotating clockwise and the caption, “Loading” forever. I run a cable modem and my connection is good so this is not for lack of ability to load. Closing it out and reloading it does not clear this problem up. I have CNBC on while working at my computer and when this gadget does work it is accurate but is at least two or three hours behind the actual price. I have uninstalled this gadget because it is more nonsense than help.

Great One. (9/9/2008)
This price reflects the price of Light Crude. I'm not sure where it's feed comes from, but the price matches up with Reuters. Also, the price of crude oil is measured in US Dollars. That's the current international standard and is set by OPEC (I think). Having it set to the US Dollar means that when the US Dollar weakens, the price of oil goes up. The opposite is also true.

inaccurate but great idea (3/17/2009)
This seemed like the perfect gadget as I keep a close eye on crude oil prices. When I downloaded it, it showed the proper $48.74 but it showed that it went down $0.40 today. Rather, oil went up $2 today. App looks nice, but NEEDS a better source. Good Luck!
