Great gadget until MS moved favorites.live.com into "skydrive" (15/04/2009)
Gadget intentionally broken by MS on 4/15/09 when Live favorites was closed down and re-mapped to a private folder on Skydrive.

Where is the sidebar version? (26/01/2007)
It is really hard to add favorites. I'd like a sidebar version that I can drag and drop the current web page I'm viewing on to it to add. Right now I need to open a second window wait for live.com to come up then drag and drop. I wish the toolbar version supported add as well.

I want to do very simple thing: to have a short online collection of links. After several attemts and hours spent trying to make it happen (the toolbar synched the collection with my local Favorites even though I disabled it, and that screwed everything completely) I have deleted the Favorites gadget from my page. Later I attempted to restore it: no matter what I am doing, I can't add Favortes back to my live.com page.

This is not great. Will not work on my Live custom page either. Previous reviews must be considered!!

Stopped working after a couple days (page not found) (29/04/2008)
Had this working for about 2 days. Then there changes to the logins (I noticed I was now sometimes getting a Passport login screen instead of the Live login screen) and that caused this gadget to stop working. When it was on my.live.com page or when using the Preview here, I get "page not found" so the gadget is probably coded to only go one place to get the data and maybe that changed now. Also, I tried deleting it from my.live.com page and came here to add it, looked like it got added, but did not show up on the my.live.com page.
