Easy to configure. Uses European dates, so remember day/month/year. 215 days to Disneyworld! Whoo-hoo!

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to run on my computer. Could you please recode it to work with Ubuntu ;)

It's okay
Attractive, but kinda big (30/10/2009)
This is by far the most attractive countdown gadget. However I'd prefer something a little smaller. It works fine as long as you enter the date European style (day/month/year). When it reaches the date the phrase "days to go" changes to "today." It only shows days, not hours, minutes and seconds as some similar gadgets offer as an option.

Just what I was looking for!! (20/11/2008)
If you need to customize a date to countdown for, then this is the gadget you need for your sidebar. This gave me the option to count down to a major test I have to study for, so seeing it open every single time I turn on my computer was motivation enough for me to hit the books!
