WIN 7 The best OS yet! (10/15/2009)
I have been running all versions of win 7 in both 32 and 64 bit since the first beta release last year. I have three notebooks and three desktops loaded with three versions, Home Premium/Professional and Ultimate in both 32 and 64 bit. All my machines are very different from each other with respect to hardware which allows me to make a very accurate evaluation of Windows 7 and I must say this operating system is a true winner. Looking at win 7 from a IT professional/ administrative standpoint as well as the casual user/ client side, I give win 7 a standing ovation. This is in my opinion the best Microsoft OS since windows 2000 and the best OS overall. I am relegated to the RTM version on all my machines for now and I can't wait for opening day. 10/22/2009 to get here. sincerely, Mark oconnell ,full Technet and MSDN member.

Great job Microsoft (10/18/2009)
I think MS did it right this time. Im in IT and this windows version has all the securuty of vista with out any of the headache problems that came with vista. It has a lot of the ease of use that was available with XP. Its really easy to get started and use for the everyday user. I think MS hit a home run this time. Now all they have to do is do something about the prices they charge and I think they will do well with this OS

Smooth, Fast, Easy on the eye (10/17/2009)
I applaud Microsoft for this OS. I missed the Beta tests, but have been using the RC1 both 32 and 64 bit. In my opinion this OS will be around for some time. It boots up faster than Vista...or XP for that matter. I've been using it for about 7 months. I am hosting a Windows 7 Launch Party on the 22nd. So Microsoft was kind enough to send me the 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 Ultimate RTM. This is almost like when I got my very first Machine running 95. I can't wait to get on and surf the web, write a paper. Or even play some Chess Titans. Anyone reading this should run out as fast as you can and buy it. You'll be glad you did.
