Dual core? (06/09/2007)
This gadget looks great, but it only shows one core. that was the problem with the original vista one too. is there a dual core one on the horizon?

Titles says it all. It's a great gadget, and the best CPU meter.... but please can you make one for dual core PCs! Cheers, and keep up the good work!

TRY using FIREFOX (15/11/2007)
I had the problem everyone else was having untill i tried using firefox to install the gadget worked like a charm!!!!!

Try downloading to your desktop, then installing it.
And if all else fails, use winrar or winzip to unzip it and then copy the folder to your sidebar gadget directory. To find that go to explorer and in the address bar paste " %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets " and paste the GCPU.Gadget folder there.
then open C:program Files/ windows sidebar/ Gadgets and open the map : CPU.Gadget
and copy the map EN-en to the %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\GCPU.Gadget folder
then its working !

After all the problems and DISASTERS, I finally installed this beautiful gadget and now I'm enjoying more my Vista.

If you have trouble installing (17/09/2007)
If you have trouble installing it, go to the folder as writen by the author. Rename the GCPU.gadget.0000 folder to GCPU[1].gadget
Go into the folder and double click the US-EN folder. Copy the files (css, js folders and the two files into the GCPU.gadget folder. This will make the gadget visible in the add gadget window.
I love the new look, it is much better looking!

Installed with ease... (13/08/2007)
Done a save to desktop and then installed it and had no problem.
This is a nice change to the default gadget that comes with Vista.

1) Better than Vist-Poops similar GAG-jet (As in GAG gag, retch and gag)
2) Works great and shows exactly what ya need to know
3) All the other gag-jets like this are TMI gag-jets.
4) No more Butt-Daling! !YAY!

Go To your " %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets " folder and go in to the en-US folder and copy everything what is in that map and paste it in GCPU.Gadget folder then it shoudl work
