I've tried Weatherbug, Weather Channel, and several others, but I kept coming back to the default Vista weather gadget for its simplicity of design and moon phase information. But it was MSNsomewhat limited in its capabilities until now. This upgraded version allows you to get a three day forecast just by clicking on it instead of undocking it. But it doesn't end there. In the flyout there's a "Current Sky" link in the top left corner. Click that and it brings up humidity, wind speed, chance of precipitation, sunrise/sunset times plus the time and location of the currently posted observations. And as before, you can click the city name and bring up the full MSN weather page with radar and everything else offered there. I have also found MSN's weather page to be superior to most sites due to the uncluttered interface and easy navigation and the ability to display current temps for up to four cities at once. (No I do not work for MSN!) This gadget is one of the best ever.

This is everything a gadget should be, small, compact, works properly has a flyout for more detailed information, one of the best gadgets in the gallery and after trying all the others this is definately the best weather gadget.

I have never written a review for anything but this one is soo good i basicly have no choice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Somebody made a weather gadget that has a flyout :D

I started out with the Vista weather gadget, which gave me a three-day forecast in a flyout. Then I switched to the version that gave me a link to MSN weather, but I lost the flyout. This gadget gives me both.

Great looking. Only wish the zip code entered would show my city rather than one 15 minutes from me.

This is an improvement over the previous version, and the best available on Vista, but it still lacks the pinache of Yahoo Weather Widget.
