Stocks Gadget needs to show more stocks in sidebar (11/1/2007)
Three quotes are not enough - we should be able to adjust the height to show as many stocks as our sidebar has room!

This gadget isnt perfect, but it is better than all the other alternatives. The look and feel are great. Please bring it back!!

To run this gadget in Windows 7 wlsrvc.dll needs to be replaced with version of Windows 7 beta. (Google:"Stocks gadget removed in Windows 7 RTM)
To deal with missing vertical resizing: just run multiple instances of gadget with 4 quotes each.

Don't like it

As other person mentioned, can't vary vertical size. No support for multiple portfolios. Not easy to add a new symbol. Charts stink.
I don't get MS.....they want ppl to like Vista, but put out crap like this. They should be providing leadership in this space by authoring kick-ass gadgets - tested by focus groups for true feedback.

It's okay

It would be great if we could add a new stock by using its ISIN code. As of now, it is fairly hard to add a new stock without having the corresponding US symbol.

It would be much better if I could add my ticker, qty purchased, total purchase price and date and the gadget would show total gain or loss + rate of return.

It's okay
Pros and Cons (9/24/2009)
Cons: Works on Vista not on 7, cant resize to view more stocks at once
Pros: If it works on your OS it does it's job but still has a few issues
