It's cumbersome to use as an adding machine because you have to keep typing back in the the answerr of the previous function. I like the history though!.

I tried allowing user to change the background image in the Settings box, but because Windows cache images, changes do not always take effect right away. That would be confusing to user. So I took it back out. I'll try allowing user to change the background to a solid color later. You can change the background image by replacing the file "C:\Users\YourUserNameHere \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\VCalculator.gadget\images\Calc.png. Change the driver letter C if necessary, and change "YourUserNameHere" to your own user name. The image size should be 130x115.

I like the concept of a historical calculator. Microsoft is missing a nice Vista PowerToy Calculator. I don't think I've seen any other sidebar gadget calculators that have a historical feature to them. That is a great idea. The graphic on this is a distraction to me. I'd prefer to just turn the graphic off or have some additional options for graphics. If there was a way you could change the graphical user interface, that would be a serious enhacement to what would otherwise be a beautiful idea of a gadget. Hope you're able to take this app and continue to improve it. Great idea!
