It shows total and per core usage of quad- and dual core processors. It also displayes a per core usage history. If Speedfan is running in background it shows per core temperatures too.

I finally decided to post this gadget here too. A thief who has stolen my code (from an earlier version released on THL) and published his little modified version here without given any credits to me (the original author). Also he directs to his webpage wich suggest users to donate for it.
Please do not support code thiefs like him!

Garbage... (10/04/2009)
Had to do some work arounds to uninstall this piece of junk...don't like it, won't use it. Ever. I'll stick to my Asus utilities because at least I know if I don't want them I don't have to go out of my way to uninstall them.

Best CPU & Heat Monitor!!! (22/03/2008)
This is a very well written widget and it integrates with SpeedFan flawlessly. I saw the other "thief" widget and it's a joke compared to this. I hope this continues to be developed and updated. As the other reviewer noted, if you integrate a memory gauge you'll have the ULTIMATE sidebar widget. Thank you for this, and keep up the awesome work.

Doesn't Uninstall in Win7, Won't Recognize Tri-core (14/09/2009)
Uninstall requires a system reboot, bothersome. Will not recognize Tri-Core CPU's properly, other gadgets do. CPU Temps require a secondary Software, not a huge deal, I already use SpeedFan. Overall not impressed, uninstalled after fighting with it.

Sidebar gadget not un-installing (31/05/2009)
If you have a gadget in Vista that does not un-install try going into explorer and type this into your address bar, where xxxxxx is your user name in windows: c:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets When you get into the folder, right click on the gadget name, in the listing, that you want to remove. You will probably be ask to verify admin rights to remove it, but that's how I got a gadget out of my pc.

Simple, attractive, effective (28/05/2009)
I'd like to see options for overall CPU: highest temp, and maybe avg temp.

Almost Perfent (26/07/2009)
Great Gadget! Olny one thing, it only shows core temps in Celsius, with no option for Fahrenheit. This makes it unreadable without doing calculations, which is very inconvienient. If that could be added this would be the best gadget out there by far!

WARNING: Install at your own risk. Or, don't. (05/08/2009)
I had high hopes for this utility, I've been looking for a gadget that can monitor my CPU usage along with Core Temp. I ignored the negative ratings on here and hoped for the best... BAD IDEA! No- Terrible idea. The gadget installed fine but immediately would not read the core temperature. After messing around with all of the settings and troubleshooting for about five minutes, I concluded that this gadget just didn't work and I attempted to uninstall it. My attempt at uninstalling this thing failed miserably as it did for numerous others on here, and it said I did not have "permission" to uninstall it. Nor do I have "permission" (on my own computer) to even delete the file using the method the person above me provided. I would not be half as upset if this stupid thing would just uninstall itself properly and get lost for good. Install at your own risk, or better yet- don't install it in the first place.
