MyOutlook has several functions:
1) replicate all Outlook e-mail's capabilities: incoming mails (of your favorite mail folder) are shown on your sidebar: select a mail folder using the 'Mail folders panel' or the Outlook pickfolder. You can read mails in a flyout and you can reply, reply all, forward, delete, categorize mails. You can also open or save mail attachments and view, in the flyout, the attached pictures!
2) your incoming appointments and tasks are shown in the "appt.s" panel
3) you can easily find your contacts, using the search box, by inserting a part of contact name. All results are shown on the panel. By selecting a result you can show contacts datain a flyout.
#### IMPORTANT ####
Use the "Settings panel" to set some features:
i) calendar time range for tasks;
ii) mails time range;
iii) update timeout;
iv) main mail folder (a new panel)
v) do contacts refresh (if you add or remove a contact)

Doesn't find folders (2/22/2008)
Nice idea, but it won't find any folders on my system. I even edit the js to make Inbox default to folder 1, but no luck. Thanks anyhow

Excellent Job, but code needs a tweak. (8/26/2008)
This is the most functional outlook gadget that I've been able to find. It has everything that you use packed into the small but straight foward interface. The only problem was it kept coming up with an 'object expected line 665' script error. I commented out this line in the MyOutlook.js file and all is well. Also I think it's important to note that all these problems which people are having with their inbox not being displayed is because they need to change the setting to personal folders in the options panel

Ok, but not what I was looking for (3/4/2008)
I work from home and am constantly looking up my coworkers contact info in Outlook to find their extension number when calling them by phone. I was looking for a gadget that would let me just type their name and bring up the contact card. I was unable to get this gadget to see any of my Outlook contacts, and the options don't let me configure it. The gadget appeared to work ok as far as displaying tasks, telling the date, and showing emails but that isn't what I wanted to use it for.

Very nice (2/24/2008)
Very nice! I wish I knew how to code one of these things. up. If I did I would've made one very similar to this. Only thing I would add is to show mails in the Inbox in the main window. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hate it
Doesn't quite work right (7/11/2008)
This generates weird errors in outlook and the limited size really doesn't make it very useful.

Shiny and promising.... but (6/9/2008)
This doesn't do anything it says i does, for me atleast. I select my inbox, but it still says no folder selected. Doesn't show contacts, appointment, or anything. If it worked, I'd give 4 stars.
