All of the sudden, after a restart today, (Auto Windows Updates installed on thursday, but I didn't restart until today) my wireless meter gadget stoped working... my wireless is ok, my network usage meter works (with the wireless connection), but the wireless meter stoped working!?!?! I installed the original Istat wireless, the modified version, and another wireless meter, and none of them work, Any ideas? SOLVED Installing any software that adds a device within the wireless device driver makes the gadget believe that THIS new "device" is the wireless card and is not ready for use, the Vista SP1 fixes this behavior. Working great now!

yes the signal strenght is not accurate, this is due to the developer uses classic RSSI method instead of Accurate method!!!!..see XIRRUS WiFI-monitor this give accurate RSSI method

Does not work with any of our Vista computers with Wi-Fi - just like all other wireless gadgets. Disappointing that no one addresses this for any of the gadgets. Everyone we know has the same issues.

Si quieres un gadget que no ocupe mucho espacio y te permita ver con qué intensidad captas una señal wifi, éste es tu gadget. Además, muestra la IP que te asigna el router (pero, ojo, que no puedes ocultarla, no tienes más remedio que verla).

The tiny little thing is perfect for a few reasons - 1. It includes 5 skins. 2. It looks really new. And finally, 3.It even says the PERCENTAGE!! The main software i use to measure the signal strength only uses DOTS AND BARS!! THANKYOU ISAT WIRELESS!!!!!!!!!!

It works, and has a visually-nice indicator, but does not refresh the signal strength without me going into the settings and clicking okay. This is going to keep me from using it, unfortunately.

Plus, it's the most visually coolest one out there! :)
