Not Perfect, but still a good start. (10/5/2009)
The graphics doesn't seem to scale all that nicely. It is kind of too sensitive I guess. Meaning it wasn't all the important when my drive just did something in 1second, but the graph make it seems like a big deal. 4 stars for good start. There are not many this kind of activity HDD meter. Usually they are useless usage meter, but, HDD activity is the real thing you want to read. When your PC get slows down, usually CPU and RAM are not busy, it is actually the slowest component aka HDD running busy.
There is another similar gadget, but it is gauge style. You can't see the history like this one, but it is less techy on the desktop. I recommend the developer to take a look. Tweak the scale to be less scary than it actually it.
I am not going to promote the other one. so you have to search something like Disk Status for that gadget.

Hate it
Doesn't work (9/25/2009)
Installed on Vistax64 with multiple drives and it doesn't show any drives. Put letters of drives not to show with only one drive to display. It didn't do it.

Awesome gadget (10/5/2009)
Instead of watch a light flash on the front of my tower I can now see which drive is "blinking". I've learned over the years watch your systems activity levels can help avoid lock ups and such. If my system "seems" slow or stuck I know if it's busy doing what I asked or just "lost, dazed, and/or confussed". Too many people get impatient with their machines and force the poor thing to wig out on them.

Does what it promises very nicely (9/30/2009)
I am running this gadget on two Windows 7 x64 systems and it does exactly what it promises. Love it. When I first started it on one system it gave me all drives, including 4 USB card readers. However I soon discovered the nifty feature to exclude drives and now I only have my two hard drives monitored. Great work!

Doesn't work on 64 bit system. (10/18/2009)
It seams there are no "Win32_..." classes required by your gadgets.

No issues (9/27/2009)
All worked for me on Vista64.
Drive exclusion worked, took no significant CPU.
Does what it says on the tin.

Simple and Useful (9/26/2009)
I don't understand the other negative reviews. This handy gadget does exactly what I was looking for: it renders a chart of the activity of your hard disk(s).
For my purposes, it works exactly as advertised.

A nice little gadget with great promise. A little work, a few more features, and this could be Really Useful. Pluses: works well and isn't a resource hog; does what it sets out to do. Minuses: LARGE; not customizable. Keep tweaking, you're off to a good start!
