Clipboard's missing link (10/02/2009)
This gadget is excellent! It's one of the tools that I will recommend to my friends and I don't do this often or without a lot of thought. I've encountered no problems and use it everyday. I don't think that I could ever go back to Windows/Office clipboard again. If you are a blogger this is a godsend. Anyone who deals with multiple documents should download this immediately. I love the fact that I can use it as a notepad and I don't have to deal with MS Office notes. I just copy and it's there until I want it to go away or save to a more permanent location. Awesome! Thank you for creating it.

Sticks like glue :-) (07/02/2009)
Now why didn't I think I needed this before? Feature request (because it is so incredibly useful): screen space could be conserved by limiting display of items to 1 (or configurable number of) lines, so that more items can be displayed. Of course ability to resize this gadget would be very welcome... I for one would be happy to give it all my free screen space! Only one complaint/puzzlement: the "time" feature seems to cycle through all the timestamp patterns when left-clicked. It would be nice if the user could instead choose a "favorite" pattern to use, instead of having to right-click all the time. Another request: Please make the maximum 99 character limit larger.

IF YOU NEVER WANTED TO HAVE A CLIPBOARD THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY, YOU WILL NOW!Does a whole lot more than any clipboard manager I have ever seen and over the years, I have probably tried a dozen or more. (12/02/2009)
Just got a new laptop with Vista Basic. I have used Yahoo Gadgets from way back. More recently, Google Sidebar. It is vying for my choice of which one is better. Although I am an avid Google fan, I will have to admit that Clipboard Manager is the most complete, easy navigation and useful of all. It has many features I never even thought about... including saving graphics! Unbelievable... and it's free! Thanks for a very useful gadget that makes life on the computer a little bit happier.

A good, actually useful gadget (01/02/2009)
I really appreciate this gadget. I think it is the best clipbaord manager in the gallery. The ability to store pictures alone sets it apart. I think the only thing I'd like ot see different would be the ability to add skins so that it makes a more attactive gadget. The current color scheme kind of clashes with my desktop.

I don't think I could do without this gadget! (06/12/2008)
Jan, I love this gadget and the new version is even better than the old. I rely on it now and when I go to someone elses machine I find myself cutting multiple things into the clipboard only to find I can only get back the first of them. I've tried a couple of similar gadgets but none of them have lasted more than 5 minutes before I've uninstalled them and come back to this one. It's by far the best out there. I love the new ability to store more clips than you can see on the front screen... If one I know is there has dissapeard off the bottom I can still find it. Meanwhile the fact that the first few items can be got to with just one click is what is missing in most other gadgets of this type. I also love the favorites and the new backgrounds. I have had some cases with the older version where it would just stop working and even after a re-boot it would not work. I had to remove the gadget from the side bar and then select it again. So far on the new version this has not happened. All in all a wonderful gadget which I have put on every machine I use.

The best clipboard manager I've used - great GUI, features & low resources! (18/12/2009)
I have been using clipboard managers since windows 3.1 & I must say that this is the best. I have been using this since I first installed Vista & there have been many great improvements in this program since I first started using it. The only problem I have had was on a few different random occasions clipboard manager would crash losing all my saved info. This has only occurred in Vista, but doesn't EVERYTHING crash in Vista? I've been using clipboard manager in windows 7 for about a month with no incident. So on that note, it can really use a feature to backup saved info & settings. For now I just save my favorites in a text file on the desktop. Also, a quick flyout menu for favorites would also nicely compliment clipboard manager. This is one of the most useful windows sidebar gadgets & I'm lost without it.

Just what I was looking for! (02/12/2009)
I downloaded this when I first went looking for new sidebar items. I loved the idea of being able to access old clipboard items from any application. It broke not long after and an email to support got an immediate response. It did take a while to get it fixed but the update was emailed to me to test because of my reporting a problem. It has been working perfectly since! It even saves the items after the reboot!

Almost Perfect! (26/10/2009)
I've only been using it for 2 weeks but so far I think it's brilliant. I use openoffice, and the one tool I miss from MS Office is the multiple-clipboard entry function, so this fills that gap for me. But it's way better than that. I haven't had a chance yet to play around with all the settings, so maybe there's even more functionality to be had from this thing! My only criticism is that as far as I can see, you can't change the colour &/or font of the 'clear', 'time', 'more' and 'filter' buttons. I think the red, italic, bold font looks a bit nasty, cheapens the look of the whole thing. Also the colour doesn't show up well against many backgrounds. A minor thing but I think it's worth pointing this out when the developers are clearly passionate about the thing and seem to be perfectionists!

Useful,... but could be better! (22/10/2009)
Useful gadget. Probably the best Clipboard to date. Biggest problem lies with clearing the board. Like User Account Control, every time you click to clear the board there is a confirmation dialog box to click a second time to affirm you really do want to delete the clipboard contents. This dialog box appears in the middle of the desktop, while the gadget is on the right edge. On a large screen, there is a lot of real estate to cross to click the confirmatory "OK" and the mouse pointer does not move there by default. It would be better to allow either: 1) the option to turn off the confirmatory delete message; 2) attach the confirmatory dialog box in a fly-out rather than a box isolated in the middel of the screen; 3) allow the mouse pointer to automatically move to the confirmatory "OK"; or 4) put a protective slider over the clear button to prevent it from being clicked accidentally.
