As a producer, I have a bit of experience with research on a deadline - no matter how minimal as long as it's accurate. And I LOVE you. Thank you for giving me the fastest blurt in the newsroom whenever a factoid question arises! It may not be much info, but it sure as hell gives me a place to start! Where have you been all our lives? Keep it up... and keep playing with this thing. I'll promote it. Gimme some new toys if you get time...skins maybe? And you can make something big of this when Vista is more common... I have a couple of question/suggestions (I don't know what this application is capable of, while keeping it so smart and simple)... some sources you could add or maybe allow us to add our own in? Best Search function - Works to incorporate multiple search engines. Replaces potentially many sidebar gadgets and flyout display is nice. ONE ISSUE - won't display 'links' so if you Wiki something it will be like "Your Term" may refer to: and then nothing else... Even linked other pages - the name of the link doesnt display. WORTH GETTING.

It's excellent, it's not like it answers every question but neither does Windows Live. It is the best, i can go use this instead of going online...

I've keep getting this error 12017.Anybody knows why? I'm from Croatia...

I really like this gadget however currently (2009) this version is broken (1.8) The problem is that it refers to the Live Search which Bing replaced. Also it seems that the Question and Answer service that it used to reference is no longer up.

The gadget is well-done and quite cool. However, the sources are poor - I haven't gotten a response from Windows Live InLine Answers yet, and poor response from Wikipedia (even when searching for things I know are in there). Have the APIs changed? That would make some sense.
