How does it work? (4/3/2007)
It doesn't ask me for account at all, so how can it get info from my mail box?

Windows Mail (5/18/2007)
Never used Windows Live Messenger, not set up, so it must check the accounts set up in the mail client. I thought "Live Messenger" was formerly MSN IM, which is paired with either an MSN.com email (which I do not have) or a HotMail account. If I load my IM program, it tells me how many messages are in hotmail.

Why does this gadget insist I have Outlook installed and running? If I wanted Outlook, I'd freakin' install it myself!

Don't like it

I didn't like it. I use Windows mail with a Gmail account and found that the counter is only updated when the mail application is running.... So I might as well look straight at the taskbar icon to see that I have unread E-mails. No need for a gadget for that.

Umm I just installed this gadget and then it didn't show that I had new mail, so I clicked on it to make sure it would bring up my mail program and I had 3 new unread messages.. I don't think this program is legit

Works Great, But So BIG! (10/24/2007)
Doesn't make sense to be that big, I'm sure you're proud of your icon but it could still look good smaller. Otherwise works beautifully.
