Optical Illusion of The Day is one of my favorite sites online, and now perfectly on my desktop. Optical Illusions can be a momentary entertainment, but also much more. They exercise our brains and can remind us that first impressions can be true- but not the only truth, and that perception and perspective are not only subjective, but fluid. On the site I have learned history and science, found new artists and illustrators, and gained insights into the perceptions and perspectives of people from all over our global neighborhood. Perhaps the biggest illusion is that what appears to be simply an interesting picture can be so very much more.

I'm running Windows7 beta and I thought it wouldn't work here, but as so many things I went wrong again with this Windows version. so, the gadget is GREAT!

for those who dont have a picture or just a black screen try this..it worked for me. i just took it off my sidebaar and then clicked + (add gadjets) readded it and now it shows the pictures and works perf. hope this helpss simple quick solution i guess hahah
