Basic information


*Text label:		Provide a text label for when this button appears on the toolbar.

*Name:		Name your button (one word, alphanumeric characters only).

*Keyword:		One word to identify the buttons you make e.g. a live ID, a nickname, or a company name.

*Tooltip: (128)		Provide a tooltip with additional information about how to use this button.

*Shortcut(s):		Shortcuts are links that open when you click the button. However, you cannot see shortcuts on the button. Add a menu if you want to see them there instead. Up to five URLs (starting with http:// or https://), with each URL on a separate line.

Icon:		Provide a bitmap (BMP) for this button's icon. For the best results, use a 16 x 16 image.

A button menu allows you to include both simple links and feeds (RSS 2.0 or Atom 1.0) for this button.

Web feed addresses:

Up to ten URLs (starting with http:// or https://), with each URL on a separate line.

Add search (optional)

Search your favorite Web site directly. When you enter a search term in the toolbar's search box and click this button, you get search results that come only from the Web sites you've chosen.
To add search, first go to the Web site you want to search (for example, www.live.com). Enter a search on that Web site, get the search results and then copy the URL for the results page into the text box below. Look for the term you searched for (for example, "dog") and replace it with "{query}".

Encoding:		To find the page's encoding, click on the View menu and choose Encoding.
