Answer to Interceptor_OneInterceptor_One (10/4/2007)
The display shows the Station name that you entered.
You MUST add your streams. The database is empty at the start. Tips are provided for finding streams in internet.

Really good gadget. I just wish it could have a timer facility so it will auto power off the gadget after a set time and maybe an alarm too. Any chance that could be added ?

Help setting up- not working for me (8/21/2008)
I have installed the radio and have added valid stream URLs to the list. They work when used in a stand along browser however when these streams are in sidebarradio, i can't hear anything. The radio does not seem to want to play them. Can anyone give setup advice?

Fast and Easy (7/22/2008)
I had to use URL Snooper to find the URL for my streaming station, and the I just copied and pasted it into this and I'm playing it live from my windows sidebar. Perfect companion to Pandora and StreamPad Podcast player that I converted to Windows Sidebar with Amnesty Generator. Now I can listen to my live streaming radio outside of my browser!

Sidebar Radio is a good solution (1/21/2008)
Sidebar Radio is a good solution. I wanted to listen to station on the sidebar that have their own HTML players. Sidebar Radio is the first gadget that offer this feature. One annoying thing that is not the fault of Sidebar is that the radio station push radio call letter and advertising which cause the "invisible" Webplayer to pop up with that content. Conveniently by using either Google or Babelfish translation (of the URL) these are blocked (good). I had trouble with one HTML player station www.910knew.com which Google nor Babelfish could handle. There is also a problem with the visualization window in that it sometimes flashes the letters HTML. To deal with that click on the on/off button once and it will be gone. The volume control only has one default level when playing HTML but works as intended on other stations. Overall this is a very good radio player and in one thing is the best in the world - it is the only one that will play radio that have their own propriatory HTML player. This gadget is a passion for the author and I believe he will bridge every obstacle to make this radio the best in every respect.

Good, just one very small suggestion (12/1/2007)
I LOVE this gadget. Now, I don't have to go through my hometown hockey team's website to get their live radio feed or have to deal with Windows Media Player when I get it. This will now be my primary internet radio player. It would be nice, however, to be able to undock the gadget. No big deal, nothing I'm going to cry over, it would just be a tad more convenient. Thanks again, great job!
